You can kitesurf in summer season. Don't expect strong winds, so take your biggest kites. There are waves on one side of lagoon and flat water with reef break on other side. Kite schools KBA and Kitezone will help you with lessons and gear.
You can go snorkeling of the beach In Nai Yang from the life guard post in the park. There's some fish animal life and the corals are starting to grow/recover from the 2004 tsunami.
