Toya Chiba, Reporter Survived The Tsunami, Kamaishi Port, Japan

Chiba is swept by a tsunami at Kamaishi port, as seen in this picture. He was swept away for about 30 meters, according to Kyodo news reports. Chiba managed to survive the tsunami by grabbing a dangling rope and climbing onto a coal heap around 8 meters high, Kyodo news reported.
