Leobo Private Reserve, Limpopo Province, South Africa
|
Leobo Private Reserve is situated in the Waterberg region of South Africa, a 12,000-acre malaria-free reserve overlooking the Palala Valley. Playful is what Leobo is; a vast nature-reserve, teeming with plains game and birdlife.
Leobo, which is the name for chameleon in Northern Sotho, is a fitting name for a property that, just like this enchanting creature, allows its guests to change their day at the drop of a hat and be accommodated by the most obliging staff!
The reserve is only available on an exclusive basis and guests can choose between staying at the Lodge, which sleeps 18 and offers a classic African experience, or at The Observatory, a state-of-the-art private house.
The Waterberg is a diverse environment, offering an abundance of wildlife. Rich in archaeological history and Bushman paintings, it is considered to be one of the geological wonders of the world.
