Sydney's The Herald Sun equated the power savings in the Sydney central business district to "taking 48,613 cars off the road for 1 hour." Critics, most notably Australian Columnist Andrew Bolt pointed out that "A cut so tiny (48,613 cars off the road for 1 hour) is trivial - equal to taking six cars off the road for a year".
